College Heights Church is actively engaged in community service and social justice. Below are are our major involvements.
We welcome new opportunities and new initiatives.
HOME & HOPE is an interfaith collaborative that operates a year-round shelter and support services for homeless families with children. We partner with other congregations to provide
meals and companionship, five weeks a year.

Samaritan House provides basic needs for low-income families and individuals in San Mateo County. We help with food preparation in the kitchen, once a month on Monday morning, and a
canned goods collection at Thanksgiving.

Puente de la Costa Sur provides support services for field and nursery workers on the San Mateo coast.
We help with school supplies and backpacks in the fall, and Christmas gifts in the winter.

We are also connected to InnVision Shelter Network, St Vincent de Paul, Catholic Worker House, Catherine’s Center, Loaves and Fishes, etc. We knit scarves and hats all year, and also collect:
pull-tabs (for Ronald McDonald House at Stanford)
gently used sweats (for Loaves & Fishes in San Jose)
small-size amenities like shampoo (several groups)
bath towels and washcloths (for Catholic Worker House)
