News for Feb 7, 2023
This Sunday, Feb 12: In-person service
Rev Terri Echelbarger of Many Journeys will be our guest preacher this Sunday. The Giving Sunday collection for February is for Puente de la Costa Sur. They’re busy helping people recover and clean up from all the rain.
Taize Service this Friday
Join us in-person on Friday, Feb 10, at 7:30 pm for our monthly service of chant, prayer and silence. There will be a short reading from Thornton Wilder's classic "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" and a new chant with words taken from Psalm 116. Special prayers for the people of Turkey and Syria.
Easter series with John Dominic Crossan
Similar to his “First Christmas” lectures, Dom Crossan is recording a four-lecture series on “The Last Week” (his book with Marcus Borg). Tell Polly if you’d be interested in watching the lectures together and discussing them. We’ll pick times during Lent. More info.
