News for May 29, 2024

Dear Beloved Community,
This Sunday, is communion Sunday, and our annual meeting after church. Also, our very own Roy Gesley will be preaching on Mathew 6:5-6 titled "What is prayer." Below Roy shares with us a glimpse of what he will be sharing:
Is prayer something you do in Sunday worship between the Opening Song and the Scripture Reading? Is prayer some words you were taught to recite to be religious? Or is it something more, like communication with the divine, especially for a purpose, like confession for self, intercession for others, or thanksgiving? Is prayer speaking or listening? Does prayer have results? Should it? Or is prayer something less, something actually empty, just nothing, or nothingness? Is meditation prayer? What is your actual experience? -Roy
I hope to see many of your this Sunday, and hope all of you area having a great week.
Peace and blessings!
Jorge
