This Sunday, we welcome Linda Crone, who will speak on "Collateral Beauty." Crone has worked in education for 38 years as a teacher instructor and a children's librarian. She has a master's degree in Computers in Education from Lesley College. Join us on Zoom at 10 am Sunday.

UCC newspaper editor Evan Golder dies at 82

The Rev. W. Evan Golder, who edited United Church News from its start in 1985 until his retirement in 2003, died Sep 7 in hospice care in Westlake, Ohio. He was 82. Under Golder's leadership, the newspaper won awards for news and feature coverage of the church’s ministries. Read more.

South Coast fire relief fund

Our friends at Puente write: "Our staff has joined efforts with the Red Cross, Human Service Agency of San Mateo County and the Sheriff’s Department to set up an evacuation center. Over 60 families have been provided with hotel vouchers. We expect to get more requests as the fire grows. Puente staff will continue staffing the evacuation center in Half Moon Bay to provide support to individuals and families." To help, donate here and select "fire relief fund."
