This Sunday
Join us on Zoom this Sunday at 10 am. We welcome back Erin Wiens St. John, a postulant for ordination in the Episcopal Diocese of California. She'll preach a sermon called “Living in a Post-Jesus World.” She writes: “While the Ascension (this Thursday) has been celebrated as a Feast Day in the church, I have often experienced it as an emptiness. After the utter joy of Easter's resurrection, there's a profound emptiness and sadness in a world without Jesus. In these last ten days of the Easter season, we say goodbye to Christ's physical body with us, and await the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. What do these liminal spaces look like in our lives, and where is God, if not in the flesh with us?” Join us on Zoom.

Samaritan House backpack drive
Every year, Samaritan House provides more than 2,500 low-income children and teens in San Mateo County with new backpacks and school supplies. Together, with your support, they're able to send kids back to school, ready for a year of learning and success. To support the drive, visit their webpageand purchase any of the new backpacks (which comes filled with all school supply essentials).
